Refrigeration Service Technician
Responsibilities:
- Provide repair and maintenance support for refrigeration units, freezers, ice machine equipment, and related units.
- Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that arise that would keep the equipment from functioning properly. Use experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements.
- Maintain and manage truck inventory and/or job tool boxes in an accurate, neat, and orderly manner as well as adhere to vehicle maintenance program guidelines.
Requirements:
- HVAC/R experience preferred.
- Valid Driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- EPA Refrigeration Certification.
- Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- Working knowledge of compressors, electrical troubleshooting of common types of refrigeration and heating systems.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers.
- Flexibility to work overtime, on-call, and weekends, as required.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
